Description
This home is a short walk to Glaze Meadow Pool, tennis courts, playground, pickleball, and bike/ski rental shop. In the summer months, you can walk up to the Glaze Meadow pool cafe for a coffee or their famous cinnamon rolls. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms plus a shower room off the garage. The master has a king size bed with ensuite tub and shower. The bunk room sleeps five (2 sets of bunk beds, bottom of one bunk sleeps 2). The third bedroom upstairs is a Queen bedroom. The kitchen is large and open, and has bar stools for five. For more formal meals, the dinning room is just off the kitchen. Spacious family room with gas woodstove, TV, and game table. Living room with wood burning fireplace, and lovely views of the woods. Trex deck with a view of trees and the butte (and often deer). Enjoy the new hot tub installed in April 2020. The two cul-de-sacs out front are perfect for children.

Great Location! Very Spacious!
We enjoyed this property very much for a weekend get-away. It was very spacious and nice for 3 generations of family members. It was well supplied with plenty of towels and linens, as well as kitchen supplies. Toys and books for kids were an added bonus. The hot tub was a special treat. Unfortunately there was a lot of smoke in the area this weekend, which prevented us from some outdoor activities. However, we would chose to stay in this house again. Thank. You!

Hard to beat the location!
This is a tough one. Some issues of expectations. The house is meant for families & holds multi-generations beautifully. Built & supplied w/ quality & love, it feels very homey.

We loved this house. It was the perfect layout for two families. Two living room areas was SO nice to have a kid space and adult space. Hot tub was new and really clean! Location was great. Very kid and family friendly and had all the things you want in the kitchen. There were a few places that things are a little worn or aging, but we thought it was great! It was nicer than the airbnb pics for sure. We would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable, roomy family fun
Jacobs Ladder was perfect for our winter retreat with preteen snowboarders. Great location close to pool, 20 mins from Hoodoo. Family and living rooms allowed for separation and sanity! The hot tub was clean and in good working order, if set a bit cool for our tastes. Big kitchen with newer appliances permitted multiple people to work together, and a big table to sit all of us. The basketball hoop was a really nice surprise! The only not so nice surprise was the added daily fee for staying at Black Butte Ranch, which was not unsubstantial and which we must have missed in the description, BUT the graciousness and responsiveness of the hosts - along with the pool - made up for it. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful weekend stay here! We went skiing at hoodoo, then relaxed in the luxurious brand-new hot tub. Jets have come a long ways in the last decade. We appreciated the bird feeders and peaceful setting. We also cooked delicious meals in this well-stocked kitchen. They were very generous with the items they shared (honey, syrup, spices, etc). BBQ was ready to go with everything needed. Beds were comfy and plentiful. Everything was clean and cozy. Would rent again!

This place is fantastic for families - tons of space, toys for kids, a great family room and open kitchen plan make meal prep super fun. The hot tub was great and the view out into the first is really beautiful. The houses location near the pool, tennis courts and spa would be great during non-covid times. We loved the proximity to hoodoo for skiing and sledding.

Please note, Black Butte Ranch charges $9.00** per person per day for those 7 years old and up. These are fees for maintaining the pools, bike paths, and other recreational activities. When you arrive at Black Butte, please visit the welcome center to pay your fees and get your gate access code. ** Fee is subject to change…please check with the welcome center for the up to date fees.
Bikes are not included, but there is a bike rental shop at Glaze Meadow Pool during the summer season. We find most prefer to bring their own bikes.
Please note this is a non-smoking home and no pets. Owners are extremely allergic to both.
* 25 years old required
* NO smoking inside or outside the home
* NO events or parties allowed at the home
* Not pet friendly
* Please adhere to local / Subdivision guidelines.
*Parking :
1. Please park ALL vehicles, towing trailers, boats on the property.
2. Operation of motorcycles, snowmobiles, mopeds, or ATV’s is prohibited behind the gates (Personal Mobility Devices may be operated with a permit). Such vehicles must be pushed/trailered to their lot at the Ranch. RVs, motor homes, trailers, campers, and boats may be temporarily stored in authorized areas, based on availability–call 541-595-1527 to inquire. They may not be parked at residences or at BBR parking lots. Overnight sleeping in such vehicles is prohibited.
3. If you do not have enough room, please let us know and we will find an appropriate place for the extra parking.
4. DO NOT park on the side of the road and DO NOT block any accesses.
*Weather:
1. We can not control the weather and the storm systems. Our
temperatures range from 35 degrees to 85 degrees in the summer and freezing to 40 degrees in the winter.
2. We try to keep the driveways plowed and decks shoveled before each renter, but sometimes the storms do surprise us.
3. The county road crews plow the Highways first and then the side county roads.
4. Each owner has a private snow removal company on contract and they
will plow the driveways per their contract with each of the homeowners.
5. Only a few of our homes have air-conditioners. Ceiling fans and
windows open at night will help cool the cabins down during the day in
the summer.
